Working with Kevin Martin has been a complete game changer for our son, Blake. Since starting training with Kevin, Blake’s confidence, skill level, and overall understanding of the game have improved tremendously.

NIS Hockey institute is a great program for players wanting to elevate their development in all aspects of the game . Kevin and Lyman are unbelievable with the players, the pace of the practices , the attention to details in every drill, the 1 on 1 coaching when a player might struggle with a new drill. The confidence and ability they gain is remarkable.

It’s also competitive but with a team mindset , where the players push each other in a positive way.

My sons started doing different seasonal development programs with NIS and loved it so much we signed up for the hockey institute. 

The rate of development they have achieved is amazing. My oldest is in his second year of hockey in U11 and my youngest is in his first year in U7 and people can’t believe it’s their 1st and second years .

My sons had to work for it , but with the NIS hockey institute and Kevin leading the team they are years ahead of where they would be without it !

For the last two seasons my son Jacob Vankoughnett has been attending NIS hockey institute . This program has helped elevate every aspect of his game . He went from needing to improve his shot power last year to having one of the strongest shots on his team this year . He has improved his foot speed,agility, stick handling ,puck protection ,how to recognize and explode into gaps, and more

The skills and confidence my son has gained  made him an even stronger defence man who is now also an offensive threat every time he’s on the ice
